For more than a decade, Poornima Vijayashanker has led and coached engineering and product teams through processes related to people and product; from idea to shipping product to successfully exiting.
She is currently the founder of Femgineer, an education company dedicated to helping techies level up in their careers and build products and companies. Previously she was a lecturer at Duke University's Pratt School of Engineering and the founding engineer at Mint.com.
She has also authored two books: How To Transform Your Ideas Into Software Products and Present! A Techie's Guide to Public Speaking. She hosts a weekly web show called Build, covering topics ranging from product development to entrepreneurship and leadership in tech.
Poornima holds degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Duke University.
