Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is intended to inform you about the types of information gathered by User Interface Engineering Inc. (“UIE”, “we” or “us”) when you sign up with All You Can Learn (“AYCL”), how we use and safeguard that information, and the degree to which you may control that use.

Information Collection

Registration Information

When you visit the AYCL section of the UIE website, we will not collect any personally identifiable information about you unless you choose to provide that information to us by creating an AYCL account.

In order to create your AYCL account, we will ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information such as your name and email address. If you choose to make a purchase, we will ask you to provide payment information and a billing address. We use this information solely as necessary to complete your purchase and provide you with access to your AYCL account.

It is important to note that we do not directly collect or store any personal financial information provided in connection with your purchase. All personal financial information required to complete your purchase (such as your credit card number) will be provided to and/or collected by a third party vendor such as Stripe (www.stripe.com) who will process payments and complete transactions. If you have questions about the vendors we use and their policies regarding the privacy of your information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Log Files & Cookies

We may gather certain non-personally identifiable information about your use of AYCL through the use of third-party tracking services (e.g., Google Analytics). We may also use session ID cookies and tracking cookies to better understand how you use AYCL and to enhance your user experience. Out of respect for your privacy, we do not link the analytics data or cookies to your personally identifiable information.

Information Use and Disclosure

Communications & Opt-Out

After you create your AYCL account, we’ll send you a welcome email with information about your account and an overview of AYCL. We’ll also periodically send you emails notifying you about various UIE services, including new or updated AYCL Virtual Seminars, as well as information about your account and changes to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Out of respect for your privacy, if you no longer wish to receive emails from us, you may always opt-out of receiving them by following the steps provided in the body of each email.

If you forget your account login information, you may request that we send it to the email address associated with your account. Please keep your account information secure to avoid unauthorized use of your account.

Disclosure

We will never share or sell your personally identifiable information for commercial purposes. In fact, we promise that will only disclose information about you in the following circumstances:

(1) to our service providers and suppliers to enable them to fulfill a product or service request or to perform a business, professional or technical support function for us (e.g., to process payments and send emails);

(2) as necessary if we believe that there has been a violation of our Terms of Use or of our rights or the rights of any third party; and

(3) to respond to judicial process and provide information to law enforcement agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as permitted by law, or otherwise as required by law.

If you are using AYCL from outside the United States, be advised that information we collect will be transferred to and stored in the United States. The data protection laws in the United States may differ from those of the country in which you are located, and the information you supply to us may be subject to access requests from governments, courts, or law enforcement in the United States according to laws of the United States. By creating an account with AYCL, you consent to this use.

Business Transitions

In the event UIE goes through a business transition, any personally identifiable information we have on record will likely be among the assets transferred. The transferred personally identifiable information will remain subject to the provisions of this Privacy Policy or any subsequent versions.

Information Security

We employ encryption and other security measures to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. However, please be advised that while we make every effort to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent unauthorized access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches from ever occurring. You transmit information to us at your own risk.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy. If you are a registered AYCL user, we will send you an email about any significant changes to the address associated with your account. We’ll also post the most recent Privacy Policy to the AYCL section of the UIE website. The most recent version of the Privacy Policy will supersede and replace all previous versions.
