Dave Cooksey is a user researcher and Information Architect who believes in the power of information to improve people’s lives, motivating him to be a passionate advocate for human-centric design.
Dave has helped companies like Quicken Loans, Toys ‘R Us, and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia put their best foot forward on the Web. He’s practiced usability, Information Architecture, user research, Interaction Design, and UX strategy at small agencies, large enterprises, and as an independent consultant. And he’s been a tireless organizer for the UX community for more than a decade both locally in Philadelphia and globally for the Information Architecture Conference (née Summit).
